Yesterday was an action packed day in London, England. The Blockchain Live expo took place at Olympia in London, and we were there presenting Gaimin.io to the public for the first time since our Alpha Testing began.
We have been quite busy getting our software ready for an open beta in the coming weeks where you, the general public, will be able to start mining — some of you for the very first time!
However, yesterday some of our management took the day off from that work to meet with people in the greater blockchain community from general users, to developers, investors, and media.
The highlight of the day was our CEO, Martin Speight’s, presentation in the Investor Zone where a handful of projects pitched their company’s to the audience of investors, media, and others.
We were very happy at the warm reception to Gaimin and our outlook on blockchain mining and blockchain infrastructure investment in general. As you may or may not know, blockchain technology has been facing a series of issues the past year with 51% attacks and other issues related to an inherent lack of mining hashpower to go around the community. Simply said, there aren’t enough people mining today to sustain the majority of proposed projects in blockchain.
Adding to all of the excitement of Martin’s presentation was our booth where we were fortunate to meet hundreds of people in the blockchain community.
